Access to new online training programme - VORTEX

CSVS members have been invited to access a new online training programme called VORTEX (Vascular Online Resource for Training and EXperience).
It is a pioneering digital platform designed to provide high-quality, free online teaching and educational resources to ALL UK and Ireland-based vascular surgery trainees, specialists, SAS, and locally employed doctors preparing for the FRCS(Vasc). However it is also being shared with allied societies such as the CSVS.
VORTEX offers a comprehensive series of live bi-monthly teaching afternoons, held on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month at 3pm, covering every aspect of the vascular surgery curriculum. These sessions are led by specialists from across the UK and Ireland, ensuring you receive top-tier education from leading experts in the field. While we encourage everyone to participate live via Teams (links will be provided here), all sessions will also be recorded and available for later viewing, so you can catch up at your convenience.
In addition to live sessions, VORTEX regularly updates with supplementary educational content and highlights existing high-quality resources, such as those from the Oxford Vascular Collaterals, The Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland, BSET, and the ASPIRE courses.

This has the backing of NHS England and it is the first surgical subspecialty that has manged to allow allied societies to join as well. The VORTEX team will also be seeking feedback in due course.
