The CSVS run educational days designed to support the education of trainees including those wishing to work towards AVS accreditation.
Fundamentals Study Days
The fundamentals Days are designed to give a basic overview of vascular ultrasound scans and physics. It is a 2 day course (with the option to attend 1 day)
Topics include ultrasound physics, haemodynamics, vascular disease and vascular imaging techniques, taught as a mixture of lectures and hands on ultrasound workshops
These days are suitable for all trainees (particularly in their 1st and 2nd year of training) and anyone interested in an overview or an update in their knowledge of vascular ultrasound.

Revision Study Days
This 2 day revision course (1 day Vascular Physics, Heamodynamics and Instrumentation and 1 day Vascular Technology) utilises past paper questions to help prepare candidates for the theory exams. The session will utilise small groups to work on answering questions and identify any areas of revision still needed.
These days are designed for trainees who are about take their theory exams or for anyone wanting to check their knowledge and understanding.
